THE HISTORY OF SARAH WOODE FOUNDATION: Sarah Woode Foundation, Inc. (SWF) was established in 1993 by Dr. Harold Amankwah Afiriyie. He recognized the need to identify students wishing to expand their interest in science, mathematics, and engineering.
Sarah Woode Foundation particularly encourages the development of these areas by providing grants, scholarships and financial assistance to students, institutions, and other organizations. Firm commitment to the development of our youth is the motivating force behind Sarah Woode Cosmetics, the major sponsor behind this effort. This is in response to the founder’s dream of establishing an organization in memory of his mother and educator, Ms. Sarah Woode. Sarah Woode Foundation also assists foreign students who wish to partake in the areas of interest provided by the organization.
